1. GENERAL QUESTIONS
You must be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo at OCD Ink Studio.
We are located in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter at 04 Hàng Ngang. This central location makes us easy to find and a perfect stop for both locals and travelers.

Yes — but in the best possible way. During the tattoo process, your body releases endorphins, which help you handle the pain. While it does hurt, many clients find the experience surprisingly enjoyable.
Pain varies for everyone, but commonly sensitive areas include ribs, feet, and inner arms. Less sensitive spots are the forearms, thighs, and calves. Our artists can advise you on placement if you’re concerned about pain levels.
Get a good night’s sleep, eat a meal beforehand, and stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications before your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed.

Yes. We often work with travelers. Depending on the design size and detail, many tattoos can be completed in a single session. For larger pieces, we can discuss options to fit your travel schedule.
2. PAYMENT
We currently accept cash, bank transfers through Wise or Revolut, and cards with 3% transaction fee.
3. POLICY
Yes. We offer a two-year warranty on all tattoos, except for hand and foot tattoos. This warranty allows you to receive a free touch-up within two years of your session.
Additional touch-up fees apply if your tattoo is damaged due to:
- Not following aftercare instructions.
- Accidents or negligence, such as scratches or sunburn.
Refunds are only provided if the customer is dissatisfied due to serious mistakes made by our artist.
To make sure every tattoo heals well and lasts beautifully, we don’t work on:
Palms, soles, or sides of fingers
Sensitive or intimate areas
The face
Scar tissue
Cover-ups or reworks of existing tattoos
This way, the focus stays on tattoos that look great and stand the test of time.
4. PRICING
All tattoos start at 800,000 VND. The final price depends on factors such as size, detail, placement, and complexity.
The best way to receive an accurate quote is through a free in-person consultation or by sending us a message via Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp with details such as subject, size, placement, and any reference images.
5. APPOINTMENT & WALK-IN
You can book in several ways:
- Visit our shop in person to discuss your ideas.

- Send us a message via Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp with details about your design, placement, approximate size, and photo references. Kindly include your preferred dates as well.

"Walk-in” means no appointment is needed. Walk-in tattoos are usually small to medium-sized designs that don’t require extensive preparation. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on artist availability and cancellations.
Yes. A 20% deposit is required to secure your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, and the amount will be applied to your final tattoo cost.
6. AFTERCARE & HEALING
Initial healing usually takes about two weeks, but the skin can take several months to fully regenerate.
After your session, you’ll receive a printed aftercare instruction card. You can also find detailed aftercare guidelines on our website. Following these instructions will help your tattoo heal properly and maintain its quality.
With proper aftercare, tattoos can be considered permanent. Over time, natural fading can occur, but touch-ups are available under our warranty to keep your tattoo looking its best.
